Member/ Non Member Delegate Registration Inclusions

- attendance at all conference sessions
- welcome reception
- conference dinner
- all conference catering (Tuesday/Wednesday morning/afternoon tea and lunch)
- delegate satchel including, conference handbook, delegate listing and name badge.
- to qualify for the member rate, you must be a current member of The Institute of Foresters Australia (IFA)
- non-member registration types include a one year IFA membership fee.

Day registration includes:

- attendance at all conference sessions on the selected day
- all conference catering on the selected day
- delegate satchel including, conference handbook, delegate listing and name badge.
PLEASE NOTE THIS REGISTRATION TYPE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.

Student Delegate Registration Inclusions

- attendance at all conference sessions
- all conference catering (Tuesday/Wednesday morning/afternoon tea and lunch)

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE CONFERENCE?

During the conference days, smart casual attire is preferred.

For the social program - smart casual attire is recommended for the welcome reception and for the conference dinner, evening wear/lounge suit.

CAN I BRING EXTRA GUESTS TO THE SOCIAL FUNCTIONS?

WHAT IS THE CLIMATE FOR AUGUST IN CAIRNS?

Winter in Cairns brings slightly cooler temperatures and lower humidity, average temperatures range from 17.5 - 26°C (63.5 - 78.8°F) and there is low rainfall.

WHEN DOES EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION END?

Early bird registration ends on Monday 12 June 2017

WHAT IS THE CUT-OFF DATE TO REGISTER FOR THE IFA BIENNIAL CONFERENCE 2017?

The online registrations cut-off date is Friday 11 August 2017.

Registrations will be available onsite at the conference from Monday 14 August 2017.

I NEED TO CANCEL. IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

All cancellations need to be made in writing to Consec - Conference and Event Management via email address:

Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the conference after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. In the case of a cancellation, delegates must inform Consec - Conference and Event Management in writing of their inability to attend. A refund of the registration fee, less a cancellation fee of $155.00 including GST will be made on or before Wednesday 12 July 2017. No refunds will be made to anything after Wednesday 12 July 2017. All refunds are made after the conference. Any changes made to a registration within seven (7) days of the conference will incur a $40.00 administrative fee.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Delegates who cancel their accommodation booking must inform Consec - Conference and Event Management in writing of their cancellation before Wednesday 12 July 2017.

WILL MY DETAILS BE PUBLISHED IN THE DELEGATE LIST?

In registering for this conference, relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name, organisation, state/country only - in accordance with the Australian Privacy Amendment Act 2000) and may be made available to parties directly related to the conference including Consec - Conference and Event Management, IFA, the conference organising committee, venues and accommodation providers (for the purposes of room bookings and conference options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and parties associated with related conferences. By completing this registration form, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be used for the above purposes.

In the event of industrial disruptions, the Institute of Foresters of Australia (IFA) and the organisers accept no responsibility. In the event of the venue becoming unusable or other circumstances or the need to cancel the conference, there can be no liability on the Institute of Foresters of Australia (IFA) Biennial Conference or the organisers.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A NAME BADGE?

Your name badge is your entry to the Institute of Foresters of Australia (IFA) Biennial Conference sessions and trade exhibition. If you misplace your name badge, please see the Consec - Conference and Event Management staff at the registration desk for a replacement.

NO SMOKING POLICY?

All internal areas of the Pullman Cairns International, are non-smoking areas and the IFA Conference supports a non-smoking policy.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC NEEDS?

We endeavour to ensure delegates attending the conference with specific needs are catered for. Should you require particular assistance, please make a note on your registration form or contact Consec - Conference and Event Management via email:

DO I NEED PERSONAL INSURANCE?

Delegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to persons or property, including baggage during the Institute of Foresters of Australia (IFA) Biennial Conference. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements due to strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

WHAT DOES THE GOODS AND SERVICES TAX (GST) MEAN?

A goods and services tax of 10% is levied on most purchases in Australia and is included in the purchase price of the goods or services. You may be eligible for a refund of the GST on goods purchased in Australia. For more information visit www.customs.gov.au
